Interlibrary Loan System

Colon Township Library is now participating in the statewide MeLCat interlibrary loan system. 

You may access the statewide catalog by clicking the link below, or through www.mel.org.  You will need your 14-digit patron registration number, and you must be a borrower in good standing with the library.  If you have questions, please come to the circulation desk or call the library for assistance.

Change to Interlibrary Loan Policy

Attention Interlibrary Loan Borrowers:

We are pleased to bring you this service, but ask that you remember:

• Check our library's catalog first before requestiong from elsewhere. We may have an alternate edition of the item.
• There is a cost to the library and the state for this service (in delivery, materials, packaging, etc.) so please request responsibly.
• Return ILL materials by their due date; borrowers at the lending library are very likely waiting for their timely return.
CTL will be levying a fine for overdue ILL items, beginning October 1st. Your ILL borrowing privileges may be revoked if necessary.
• Your local library must pay for unreturned materials - please return them!
